Authority
Board
The Authority Board consists of five township residents
appointed by the Township Council for a staggered five-year
term. Board meetings are held on the 1st Wednesdays of
every month. |

Andrew W. Blenko, P.E., J.D.
Chairman
Mr. Blenko and his family have resided in North Huntingdon
Township since 1996. He is a registered professional
engineer in Pennsylvania as well as a licensed attorney.
He is employed by the Township of North Huntingdon as
the Planning Director/Township Engineer. |

Edward P. Shields, P.E., P.M.P.
Secretary
Mr. Shields is a 30-year
resident of NHT. He and his wife LaVonne have three
daughters: Rochelle, Erin, and Amanda. Ed is a registered
professional engineer in Pennsylvania and a registered
project manager professional with a masters degree in
business administration. He is employed by Westinghouse
Electric Co. with thirty years experience in engineering
and management. |

Joseph M. Korenic, Jr.
Treasurer
Mr. Korenic is a 38-year resident
of North Huntingdon Township. He is married with two
children. Joe has a BS in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Pittsburgh. Joe has 27 years
experience in engineering and management. |

Timothy J. Hondal
Assistant Secretary/Treasurer
Mr. Hondal has been a resident of
North Huntingdon Twp. since 1996 during which time he
previously held the position of the 5th Ward
Twp Commissioner for five years prior to joining the
NHTMA Board of Directors. He is professionally employed
with the Equitable Gas Company where he currently holds
the position of Manager of Technical Training. Tim
brings forth 32 years of construction, maintenance and
managerial experience to the Board of Directors. |

Andrew J. Polczynski, P.E.
Vice-Chairman
Mr.
Polczynski is a lifelong resident of the Township. He
has a BS in Marine Engineering from the US Merchant
Marine Academy and an MS in Environmental Engineering
from the of Pittsburgh. He holds an active license as a
Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth. He has a
diverse technical background with experience in both
environmental and mechanical engineering. He has held
positions as maintenance superintendent and maintenance
engineer as well as environmental engineering positions
in testing and design. Additionally, Mr. Polczynski is
serving in his fourteenth year as an officer in the U.S.
Navy Reserve. |
