NHTMA is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all infrastructure included in sewage collection, transportation and treatment.

NHTMA is trusted to monitor and implement all wastewater related laws as set forth by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) & Federal regulations imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
