The North Huntingdon Township Municipal Authority (NHTMA) is continuing its project to replace all the public sanitary sewer lines throughout the Markvue Manor area. This phase will affect properties on all or portions of Alberta Drive, Audrey Jane Court, Barry Drive, Donde Court, Hedy Lynn Drive, Niagara Drive and Richard Road.
Status Update (chronological):
Advanced Contracting, Inc. was the successful bidder for the first phase of this project and they began work on August 8, 2022. Construction is complete and restoration will be ongoing.
The second phase of this project will be pipe lining certain areas. The successful bidder was Performance Pipelining. Work is anticipated to begin the week of November 7, 2022.
Performance Pipelining, Inc. was the successful bidder for the second phase of this project and they began work on November 14, 2022. This phase will be utilizing trenchless cured-in-place-pipeling (CIPP), eliminating the need for traditional open-cut excavation. The contractor should complete the project within 90 calendar days.
